Hey Amin glad to see your keeping up with your health and staying fit. Also congratulations on having a baby on the way. Seems like your girlfriend was real supportive to you, so here's your chance to be supportive to her. I want to commend you on cutting off some of your friends. I was in the same position myself. It's not an easy thing to do but, it's the responsible thing to do. I am sorry to hear about your sister. Hopefully when she comes home she can turn things around. Well good luck with the getting certified for the personal training. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Amin - your strength and focus are extremely inspiring but also very humbling. I felt compelled to intervene this PROG. First things first though, you have to add another scoop of protein powder to your power shake… sound a little winded from your workout! I’m glad to see you’re weeding out friends that don’t share your interest in success… PROG to that! Before we can discover the future of social change, we first have to live the change and you’re doing that well by choosing your friends wisely. PROG also to that beautiful wonder of a baby your wife is carrying. (Remember, she is two people in one right now… so if she does grow a little bossy and want ice cream on demand, it may be the baby talking!). Something about the little ones gives us big ones strength. The day my son was born was the happiest day of my life, still is… the wall couldn’t stop that. They look up to you like a superhero, the little ones, and in many ways, you are one to them. On another note, sorry to hear about your sister. Try not to judge her too harshly; intervene and support her. Know that the intervention community and your Beyond The Curve mentor can be of great assistance there. Take every liberty to PROG and ask for advice from the intervention community. PROG also to your optimism as well brother. You’re showing a great deal of character right now. I’m looking forward to seeing you play some music next week (let me find out you have skills!). My son is actually a budding talent with the guitar. I’ve been trying to get him to intervene and play something on BTC PROG gallery. Perhaps in time. I always found music a cool analogy to life, how the deepest sounds of our future are first fine tune by the louder crashes of our mistakes. It’s as though we arrive smarter conductors afterward. Tell your sister BTC sends our love; we are all Progging for her. Keep forward living, brother, and keep doing those pull-ups at the gym as we pull each other up above the ground.

Thanks for the update, Amin. Congratulations on becoming an expecting parent! What exciting news! Glad to see that you got a job at a gym-- setting a great foundation (good experience) for your future. And free workouts! I'm sorry to hear about your sister. It is unfortunate to hear this news, and like Pam said please tell her that we are thinking of her. Our community extends to not just you, but your family as well.
