Hailed as a global renaissance woman, Dr. Angelou is a celebrated poet, memoirist, novelist, educator, dramatist, producer, actress, historian, filmmaker, and civil rights activist. But the 86-year-old was praised by those who knew her as a good person, a woman who pushed for justice and education and equality.

She was truly and inspirational and phenomenal woman!! One of my favorite quotes of Maya Angelou “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
