Music has always been a refuge of mine when life gets crazy. While at fishkill i was able to play drums with allot of different people playing many different styles of music. I am currently really busy but still find the time every now and then to play the music that i love. I also thought that it would help other non-parolees understand how overwhelming it can be to be handed the long list of rules we are expected to abide by. Or rather the rules we are expected to break. Hope you enjoy!!-geoff

Hi Geoff - wow I love the flute!! You should take it up... i'm no expert but it sounds great... thanks for giving us an insight of what someone goes thru once paroled... can't imagine anyone remembering all those rules... wow that's amazing!! Stay positive!!

hi geoff thank you for sharing your story... it was good to hear the parole stipulations. Many of us are oblivious to the many rules that comes with being on parole... Thanks to the Beyond The Curve community for all the support. Keep your head up!! BTW, i totally enjoyed the flute... that was great!!

Hey Geoff, that was a nice detailed description of all the rules of parole. I know it may seem like alot but, you have to look at it like its all to better yourself. Glad to see you still find time for music. That was a pretty good job you did on the flute. Keep up the good work man, looking forward to hearing more of your progress.

Geoff, you’re a multi talented person who can succeed in whatever you wish. That’s because you have heart and are not afraid to try new things. Although the Parole regulations seem to appear too much it’s still not prohibiting you from reaching your goals. Your attitude, and determination are great! Our Online Community will support you through this process!

thank you so much everyone for commenting your words mean allot to me. we will be posting another video soon. The travel pass never happened which is ok because work is ongoing and school is about to start again anyway. hopefully ill be able to make a drumming video soon which is what i like to play.

The list of parole rules is overwhelming I'm sure, but abiding by them is a small price to pay to maintain your freedom. Keep your eyes on the prize....your freedom. Loved the flute!

Geoff - 5 years may seem like a long time but as we get older time flies. You will be free from this before you know it. Stay focused on school and work - hopefully that will help. They just want to take all of the unnecessary distractions away from you so you can stay on the road to building a better life - think of it that way! You look happy - and the flute was beautiful. Keep the videos coming!!
