Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday!! I remember when I made this video and can look back knowing that i have come a long way since. I have now been home six months and have successfully completed all parole mandated programing. In addition i have just finished my first semester of college at BMCC. It is still a struggle at times, but i look forward to the community support provided here. I owe allot of my accomplishments to the good advice received from beyond the curve mentors while still in it's infancy. I cant wait to hear from everyone as soon as you get the chance. Thank you, Geoff.

Hey Geoff, just want to say congratulations on finishing your first semester of college. I'm 30 years old and still have not got to any schooling yet, so I know its not an easy task. Keep up the good work man.

Wow!! Thank you all so much for the support I know its not easy to find the time. I'm currently in the process of applying for a travel pass from parole in order to go and visit some of my family that live in California. I've been getting the run around a little bit but i'm going to keep trying. Stay tuned, Monday we should be posting my week two video!! Dear Geoff - your determination to move on from your past and look forward to a positive future is an inspiration. I applaud your choice. Life is a constant struggle and has many pitfalls but it can be good when you have family, friends and the Beyond The Curve Community who will support you. Happy New Year! Hope you are well today and pushing forward in all things. Don't get distracted by what's around you...just keep your eyes on the prize

on monday i will be going in for a scheduled parole visit but will also look into getting the pass to go out to California. Its not ideal timing now that ill have work but i'm going to try and go for at least a few days if they'll let me, wish me luck!! Ill make sure to let everyone know the verdict as soon as i find out.

my husband after 23 years in prison he has came back into society, productive part of life!!!!!!! in the street its so hard to get by when u see people have! an you don't! its make u want to go an get it! my husband fight everyday not to do the things that he used to do..........with beyond the curve it helps him every day to get by!!!!!!one day at a time! they need help everyday! my husbands name is Richard he is one of the people participating in this program! like I said one day at a time!!!!!! we doing it one day at a time! HE WORKS HARD EVERYDAY TO GET BY!!!!!!!!!!I its not easy! when he needs help he knows where to get help! some people need come to beyond the curve an get the help you need! thank you crystal!
